The Wonder of God’s Mercy

November 25, 2012 Speaker: Brent Small Series: Psalms

Topic: God's Mercy Passage: Psalm 103:1–103:5

In this sermon podcast on Psalm 139:1-5, Pastor Brent remembers five “acts of God’s mercy” so that we can draw near to Him.

Our most intimate relationships are marked by a stark contrast from all other relationships in which we engage. What is the difference? Intimate relationships go beyond the surface level of external appearances or even life experiences. We know someone on an intimate level when we know the very characteristics of what makes someone tick. When we know what drives someone, or brings a smile to his or her face or brings a tear to the cheek, we can say that we know someone on a deep and personal level.

You might often ask yourself, “How can I know God on a more deep level? Or you might ask yourself, “How can I draw near to Him.” As Christians we all have the Spirit living within us that compels us with the desire to know God more. But how?
